Famitsu, the Japanese gaming magazine has reported that there is a limited time sale on Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for PS3. The highly acclaimed title, which serves as an expansion to 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma will undergo a limited time sale from April 12 to April 23, 2018. Sadly, this is for Japanese PSN Accounts only.
The base game’s price will drop from 3,024 yen (~30 USD) to 500 yen (~5 USD). Each individual piece of DLC will be discounted to 50 yen per piece.
Hideki Itsuno Apologizes
Earlier this year, Dragon’s Dogma director Hideki Itsuno apologized for not announcing any new games in 2017 despite promising to do so. He did assure, however, that a new game from him is certainly still happening and that “…the development of the project is under climax.” (source).
Despite being a part of Capcom’s “Spring Awakening Life Support Sale”, could this be a move to hype up the gamers for a true sequel to the 2012 hit? Leave your thoughts and comments down below. I’m personally hoping for Devil May Cry 5 from Hideki-san, but Dragon’s Dogma 2 sounds great!
