Wynn Resorts has launched an exclusive exhibit titled the Wynn Signature – 2024 Hypercar Exhibition at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. This unique event, supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), showcases 30 rare and ultra-luxury vehicles, valued at HK$1.5 billion (US$190 million). Brands featured include prestigious names such as Bugatti, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and McLaren, among others. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge and will run until October 13, 2024.

The development of tourism services and products targeting the needs of visitors of different profiles coming from diverse markets injects novel elements into Macao’s tourism experience, offering visitors a special and memorable travel experience.”

The exhibition reflects a broader trend among Macau’s casino operators to diversify revenue sources beyond gaming. This strategic shift is evident in the latest financial results from MGM, where the contrast between Las Vegas and Macau operations is stark. In Las Vegas, only 21.9% of MGM’s revenue came from casino gaming, compared to 87.4% for MGM China.

Diversification efforts are crucial as Macau recovers from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The region’s monthly revenue has now surpassed pre-COVID levels, as reported in Macau’s July 2024 revenue figures. The “Tourism+” strategy was recently discussed among representatives from MGM China, Yangzhou, and MGTO to enhance Macau’s tourism development.
