Earlier this month, Ubisoft allowed players to ‘hack’ into their UPlay console as an April Fools’ joke. This led the community to believe that this was a definite sign of Watch Dogs 3. However, after weeks of silence and no further news about it, people were starting to lose hope. Finally! Something big has happened.
Meet Sam, Ubisoft’s Gamer Help App
Sam, Ubisoft’s App that’s met to help gamers in a similar way as Amazon’s ‘Alexa’ and Google Home. Ubisoft currently has 2 triple-A games that they’ve confirmed for release. These are The Crew 2 and Skull & Bones. So there’s still 2 more we’re not sure about.
However, according to this Tweet from Twitter user EWarz, it seems like we might be able to put Watch Dogs 3 on the list too.
Prior to this jaw-dropping revelation, the Watch Dogs 2 twitter account Tweeted out a mysteriously, and all the tweet said was, “This is everything.” And then it was deleted shortly after it caught attention. People were speculating what that meant and of course, it was back on the Watch Dogs 3 train they went.
Now, I don’t know about you but having an official Ubisoft App tell us:
“Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it’s very solid. The Dev team works wonders! Can’t wait for you to try it!”
Seems like a pretty solid confirmation to me. Of course, keep your fingers crossed until Ubisoft makes an official announcement as they’ve not yet done so. Hopefully, we’ll see something by E3.
