What is the Spider-Man The Heist DLC about?
Marvel’s Spider-Man The Heist DLC will be the first chapter in the three-part The City That Never Sleeps DLC. As stated, this three-part DLC will have an interconnected story. You can purchase the whole pack with The City That Never Sleeps or get it separately as a standalone.
The Heist will feature one of many of Spider-Man’s iconic characters, the Black Cat. Black Cat who a.k.a Felicia Hardy has a rather complicated relationship with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. In one point of view, she is a villain while in another she is a love interest. It goes back and forth between Spidey and kitty.
The story begins with Black Cat crossing paths with both Spider-Man and Mary Jane after a robbery at an art museum. Drama alert for our dear Spidey?.
Suits, trophies and many more
Well, if the addition of Black Cat doesn’t peak your interest then these might. Spider-Man the Heist DLC also adds three new suits into the game.
From left to right, we have the Scarlet Spider II, the Resilient Suit, and the Spider-UK suit. The Scarlet Spider II and the Spider-UK, fans would recognize right off the bat. But if you don’t recognize the Resilient Suit, it is fine because it is an original suit to the game designed by the famed Marvel illustrator, Gabriele Dell’Otto. There is no information, however, on how to unlock these or what are their abilities just yet. Besides the suits, the DLC also adds a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, and new trophies. So all you Platinum trophy hunters – you still got a job to do.
If you haven’t noticed, in the Marvel’s Spider-Man base game, there is a side-quest which Black Cat left for you. Completing this unlocks a nifty suit and gives you a hint for the Heist DLC that is coming up. Also check out the trailer in the box above.
