Goodies for the internet’s master race
PC Gaming gave us a whole lot more to digest and this one goes out to all of you who likes yelling “PC MASTER RACE” in Twitch chats. Here’s a quick summary of what was announced at the PC Game Show at E3 2017, and of what’s to come.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen
Fight new alien champions with new powerful soldier classes! This new DLC for XCOM 2 comes out on August 29 and Jake Solomon, creative director, claimed that this is the biggest expansion yet in comparison to all previous expansions.
Age of Empires: Definitive Edition
The RTS of my childhood is getting a 4k makeover plus improved gameplay that includes modernised interface and refined elements. Xbox Live is bringing back the entire game soundtrack and adding multiplayer to the game. The game is due later this year and the Definitive Edition includes all civilisation from the base game and the Rise of Rome expansion.
TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER 2: BATTLE OF THE FALLEN GATES
High elves, dark elves, lizard men and one more secret faction – these are the faction you get to play in the new Warhammer with the fourth’s reveal being some point later. The game will be available on September 28.
Farm cute tiny creatures in your gardens and go on an adventure with them!
Take on jobs and dictators as you battle across multiple star systems.
MOUNT AND BLADE 2: BANNERLORD
Medieval role-playing game and the sequel to Mount and Blade: Warband. Lead your calvary to victory!
SHADOWVERSE’S WONDERLAND DREAMS
The fourth expansion of this digital card game will be coming out by end of this month on the 29th introducing 104 new cards that you can add to your deck.
Play as a cute fox in this action adventure game in a polygonal world set to launch in 2018 for Mac and Windows PC.
A new update is bringing climbing, vaulting and weather to the game. There’s also two new map, one in Adriatic and another in Peru. On top of creating a stable environment, the creator is also looking to bring modding to this exceedingly popular game. Last but not least – OTs-14 Groza!
KILLING FLOOR 2: SUMMER SIDESHOW
New challenges, modes, weapons, skins, mini games and enemies that came straight out of your nightmare, featuring The Bearded Lady, Pukey the Clown, Strong Pound and The Monkey man. Hits store on June 13 and will only last for a month.
A survival sandbox game with crafting and exploration. Sounds familiar? The game will support in-game modding with an in-game editor. Early Access for the game will be available soon on Steam.
THE LAST NIGHT
Cinematic platform game that looks a lot like Blade Runner.
From creators of Don’t Starve and No Oxygen Included, Griftlands is an RPG that requires you to make morality choices to progress in the game and as always, your choices will impact how the game unravels. The game is set for release either late 2017 or early 2018.
This VR game will bring space to your fingertips.
The final closed beta for Lawbreakers will happen on June 29 and open access beta on June 30. The game is set to for a full launch on August 8. Lawbreaker is a fast-paced, gravity-defying shooter. Fly, float and fight! Oh and, multiplayer! The game will be published by Nexon and it will be available on PC and PlayStation 4 (PS Plus subscription required). MIDDLE-EARTH: SHADOW OF WAR
