2017 PC Exclusive Games: Only PC Gamers Allowed
PC is master race! Well, at least for this article it is. Here’s a list of games that can only be played on PC. However, some of these will eventually come to console, but for 2017, they will remain PC exclusive.

Abandon Ship is a sea exploration game with tactical elements. A crew set sails on the savage seas to uncover its secrets and you’re the captain. The game has yet to be released but you can check out the trailer here.

A gory survival horror game brought to you by Mad Mind Studio. This game takes you to Hell, figuratively and literally. Beware of Demons, gore and nudity. Kiddies, this is not your game. This game is unreleased but here’s the trailer.
A Hat in Time

This is adorable 3D platformer developed by Gears for Breakfast set to be released this Fall 2017. The gameplay was released earlier this year at E3 and it looks great! Smooth gameplay and intense level designs. See for yourself!
Aquanox: Deep Descent

This game is an underwater simulator with role-playing elements and some deep sea diving action. Here, you play as a pilot to a high-tech submarine. This game does have a co-op mode so grab your friends and let’s see how long you can hold your breath. The Aquanox team is looking to release the game this year but have yet to set a date. Artika.1 is a VR shooter game in which you get plunged into a war on an alien-ravaged Earth. But aside from being a PC exclusive, this game is also an Oculus exclusive. So make sure you have the right device before you buy the game. Here’s the trailer.

This game, developed by Harebrained Schemes, is said to be a revolutionary turn-based strategy game. Set in the year 3025 where you’re the mastermind and mechs do your dirty work. Check out the trailer, general.

Amanita Design renowned for their interesting character designs and soundtrack is coming in with another artistic game. This time, it appears to be a confusingly adorable horror game? Honestly, the trailer’s got me confused as to be in awe or scared for my life. Maybe both?

This monster-hunting RPG is one of 2017’s most anticipated co-op games of the year. Go on raids with your friends to scavenge for parts that will make you a stronger fighter just so you can do it all over again. But ultimately, why are we doing this? Bragging rights. New Blood Interactive brings us a new first-person shooter retro game to end all retro games. The game is supposedly inspired by all the 90s favourites and I have to say, I’m impressed. Check out the trailer.
Escape from Tarkov

Warfare just got a lot more hardcore with Escape from Tarkov. This first-person action RPG may just be what we needed. But it’s not all blood and glory in this game. Steampunk meets the Ice Age in this city building survival game. Frostpunk made from a unique combination of city builder, survival and society simulation. Developer said the game is coming in the second half of 2017, so… anytime now? Bookmark their website to keep yourself updated.
Frozen Synapse 2

Strap on your brains because you’re going to need it for the release of Frozen Synapse 2. This strategic turn-based game is a sequel of Frozen Synapse. The first game received ‘Very Positive’ reviews so we’ve got high hopes for this one. Follow their website for more information.

This one’s pretty exciting because it’s by Nexon. But if you don’t know who they are, think MapleStory and Counter Strike. Lawbreakers is their newest project set to be released on the 8 August 2017 so mark that on your calendars. This is an arena first-person shooting game set in a Sci-Fi world. There’s an anti-gravity feature in the game that makes it fast paced and exhilarating. So… Overwatch on steroids? Yes please. Here’s the website.

It’s creepy, horrific and it’s cyberpunk. It’s perfect. This game is about hacking into the mind and witnessing horrors beyond your wildest nightmares. You are, in every sense of the word, an Observer. The game is already being described as the new Layers of Fear but the cranked up version. Layers of Fear was already pretty heckin’ scary, in my opinion. Check out the trailer.

Overland is an adorably designed post-apocalyptic survival game. This game is more about surviving on puzzles rather than hacking and slashing your way to the top of the food chain. The art is fantastic and that alone is incentive enough to get the game. Visit their website to see for yourself.

If Dead Space and Alien Isolation had a baby then you would get Routine. This creepy survival horror game injects adrenaline straight in to your veins as you shoot your way to survival or get hunted to death. Routine is developed by Lunar Software, an indie game developer. So you can find the game on Steam Greenlight and here’s the release date trailer.

Obviously a sequel of Xenonauts. This is the new and hopefully improved version of the old Xenonauts. It’s a turn-based tactics game somewhat similar to XCOM. If you enjoyed XCOM, we think you’ll enjoy Xenonauts.
